Jesse started playing guitar in his early teens forming a band called Shadow Dancer and during that time discovered djembe and didgeridoo among many other instruments. Since then he has travelled throughout the globe absorbing music and culture wherever he found himself and performing at events such as the total solar eclipse in Zambia 2001 and back at home, Earthdance 2004 here in Perth. In recent years Jesse has been performing his own solo acoustic sounds as the Jesse Tree Project. Jesse provides pretty much all of the organic instrumentation to be found on Indijika recordings and in their live show. Alan's
performance history goes back to first being switched on by the big
outdoor party sounds while travelling in India in 1995. Starting his
career in performance as a fire artist he went on to travel for the
next ten years, performing in Europe first, then America's, Asia and
Australasia as part of The
Flaming Butterflies and more recently his solo fire and music project
The Paraffinalien.
Inspired by the Goa dance parties, Alan started mixing and editing music
in an effort to create the perfect trance fire dance sound track for
the show. Getting more and more into the mixing side of the music, started
dj'ing and leading to the present day producing and doing the electronic
sounds and computer sequencing side of Indijika.
